consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation,
its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the
land described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct,
clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over and re air a

as follows:
DESCRIPTION: A permanent easement described as being the East 20
feet of the West 30 feet and the South 25 feet of the West 401.0 feet and a
temporary construction easement described as being the West 70 feet and the
South 65 feet of a lot beginning at a point 720 .5 feet South of the North-
east corner of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 27, Town-
ship 84 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M.
, Story South 145 . 7 feet; thence Westerly 429. 0 feet; thence CNortherlyw145 . 7ence feet;
thence Easterly 427. 8 feet to the point of beginning.
See attached plat marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof.
There is also hereby granted a right of ingress and egress over
and across adjacent land and a temporary right of encroachment over
and across adjacent land on either side of the above described line
only during the period of construction.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express
the City of Ames, condition that
Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to
the above described property caused by the City's failure to use due
care in its exercise of the rights granted.

LETTER OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT
This supplemental letter of agreement outlines additional
consideration given to Donald H. and Marlys E. Phipps for the
granting of the right of way permit and easement in connection
with the Skunk River Sanitary Outfall Extension and made a
part thereof.
a. The City of Ames will pay a total of $645 .00 .
b. The City of Ames agrees to grant one free sanitary
sewer connection to the sewer line .
