NORNBACNER, Recorder er... .. .......w. .....oepucy That (I/yb,6) , CHARLES CALHOUN in consideration of the sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, (do/d,0,0,,$) hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns , the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over and repair a sanitary sewer upon, under and across the land described as follows: DESCRIPTION: A temporary construction easement 100 feet in width and a permanent easement 20 feet in width centered on a line more particu- larly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of Dawes Drive 50 feet North of the South line of Lot 2 in the Northeast 1/4 North- east 1/4 Section 27, Township 84 North, Range 24 West and running thence North 67025155" West 465 feet + to the West line of said Lot 2 . See attached plat marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof. There is also hereby granted a right of ingress and egress over and across adjacent land and a temporary right of encroachment over and across adjacent land on either side of the above described line only during the period of construction. The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above described property caused by the City' s failure to use due care in its exercise of the rights granted.
