KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS : d
That (I/we) , C. D. & D. 9 . Scott
in consideration of the sum of One Dollar and other good and va ua e
consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, (do/does)
hereby grant unto the City of Ames , Iowa, a municipal corporation,
its successors and assigns , the perpetual right to enter upon the
land described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct,
clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over and repair a
sanitary sewer upon, under and across the land escri e
as follows :
DESCRIPTION = A permanent easement 5' in width and a temporary easement 10'
in width lying West of and abutting the following described line:
Beginning at a point 440' E. and 297' S. of the Northwest Corner, Southwest 1/4
Southeast 1/4 Sec. 14-T83N-R24W and running thence South 99' .
All located in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa and containing 0.01 and 0.02
acres respectively.
See attached plat marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that
the City of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to
the above described property caused by the Cit;y' s failure to use due
care in its exercise of the. rights granted.
