Donhowe, husband and wife, in consideration of the sum of one dollar, receipt of which is hereby , acknowledged, does hereby grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a Municipal Corporation, its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, repair, maintain and use its underground electric lines, wires, :s cables and other similar equipment or any part thereof for the sole purpose, of conveying electric current for power and lighting purposes underground of the real estate described as follows: The South 5 feet of the East 110 feet of Lot E of Kate R. Logan Subdivision of Lots 76, 77 and 78 of Ridgewood - . Addition to Ames, Iowa, together with a temporary right to provide overhead electrical service in event of emergency.
