RIGHT OF "WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That Green Meadows Co., a Colorado corporation authorized
and empowered to transact business in the State of Iowa, and in
consideration of the sum of One Dollar, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, do hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Story County,
Iowa, its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to construct,
reconstruct, maintain and Use its electric lines, consisting of
poles, wires, overhead and underground cables, fixtures, anchors
and other similar equipment or any part thereof, for the sole
purpose of conveying electric current for power and lighting pur-
poses, together with the right to extend to any telephone, electric,
gas or power company the right to use jointly with the grantee, any
pole placed pursuant to the provisions thereof, together with the
right to trim any trees to allow for clearance of at least four
feet,, where necessary to secure adequate clearance for the safe
operationcE the utilities, upon, underground or adjacent to that
certain piece of real estate described as follows:
The !West 5 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7;
The East 5 feet of Lots 8,9, 10,11, 12,13, and 141
The North 3.75 feet of Lots 3, 10 and 14;
The South 3.75 feet of Lots 4,9 and 13;
The North 15 feet of Lots 7 and 8,
all within Crestwood Sixth Addition to Ames, Iowa.
Further the said grantor hereby grants unto the City of
Ames, Story County, Iowa, its successors and assigns, the perpetual
right to construct, reconstruct and maintain their storm sewer over
and across:
The North 15 feet of Lots 7 and 8, all within
Crestwood Sixth Addition to Ames, Iowa.
Further the said grantor does hereby grant to the City of
Ames, Story County, Iowa, its successors and assigns, the perpetual
right to construct, reconstruct and maintain sanitary sewer and
water mains over and across the following described real estate:
The South 5 feet of Lot 13 and the North
5 feet of Lot 14, all within Crestwood Sixth
Addition to Ames, Iowa.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express conditio
HEGLAND&NEWEIROUGH that the City of Ames will assume liability for all damage to the

appeared A. ]). Thatcher and Grace G. Thatcher, to me personally
known, who being first duly sworn, did say that they are respec-
tively the President and Secretary-Treasurer of Green Meadows Co.
and that the seal affixed to the above instrument is the seal of
the said corporation and that the instrument was signed on behalf
of the said corporation by authorization of its Board of Directors
and the said A. D. Thatcher and Grace G. Thatcher acknowledged
the execution of the above instrument to be the voluntary act and
deed of said corporation.
