Hunziker, husband and wife, and Donald M. Furman and Ruth W. Furman, husband and wife, R. Friedrich & Sons, Inc. and Buck Construction Company, Inc. all of Ames , Story County, Iowa, in consideration of the sum of One Dollar, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns , the perpetual right to construct, recon- struct, maintain and use its electric lines, consisting of poles, wires, overhead or underground cables, fixtures, anchors, and other similar equipment, or any part thereof, upon, underground, over or across the following described real estate: South. 5 feet of Lots 3,4,5,6,7,8,11,12 and 13; North 5 feet of Lots 14, 23,24,25 and 26; West 5 feet of Lots 5.9,11,22 and 25; East 5 feet of Lots 4,8,13,14,15,18,23 and 26; 7.5 feet along the Southwest side of Lots 1,2, and 3; 5 feet along the Southwest side of Lots 18 and 19; 5 feet along the Southeast side of Lots 9 ,10,16 and 17; 5 feet along the Northwest side of Lots 11,15,19,20,21 and 22; 5 feet along the Northeast side of Lots 15,17,20 and 27; Heights all within First Addition, Parkview/Subdivision of Ames, Iowa, for the sole purpose of conveying electric current for power and lighting purposes, together with the right to trim any trees to allow for clearance of at least four feet, where necessary, for the safe operation and use of overhead electric lines. We further grant .to the City of Ames , Iowa, the right to permit other utility companies to construct, and in the same manner, maintain its utility facilities, jointly or severally, upon, underground, over or across the real estate as described above. The foregoing right is granted upon the express condition HEGLAND.
