Tuttle and Mary Jo Tuttle, husband and wife, of Ames, Story County, Iowa, in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns, a perpetual right-of-way over, through and across the land herein- after described situated in the 'City ,mf Auer,; , Iowa, for the purposes of constructing, reconstructing, operating and maintaining electric lines, consisting of poles, wires, overhead and underground cables, fixtures, anchors and other similar equipment for the purpose of conveying electric current for power and light purposes, together with the right to extend to any telephone company, electric or power company the right to use jointly or separately any pole placed thereon pursuant to the provisions thereof, or to use any of the land embodied by this easement, and for such other public utility purposes as may be necessary, together with the necessary equipment, fixtures and appurtenances thereto, together with the right to trim any trees where necess to secure adequate clearance for the safe operation of the electric lines upon, underground or adjacent to the said real estate, with the right of ingress to and egress from said right-of-way for all purposes connected therewith. That the real estate over, across and through which said easement is granted is described as follows: A Five (5) foot easement over and across the following described property: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of Lot Two (2) of the Auditor's Plat of Lots Four (4), Eight (8), Nine (9) and Ten (10) of Auditor's Re-Plat of Block Four (4), Read's Addition to Ames, Iowa, and running in a Southeasterly direction along the West line of said Lot Two (2) a distance of 79.0 Feet to the Southwest Corner of said Lot Two (2). _.
