I RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT
This is to certify that ECONOMY FORDS CORPORATION, in
consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar, receipt of
which
is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant to the City of Ames-,
Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns, the
perpetual right to construct, reeonstrubt, maintain and use its
! electric 'lines, consisting of poles, wires, . overhead or' urider-
? ground cables, fixtures, anchors and other similar equipment or
i any part thereof for the sole purpose of conveying electric bur-
rent for power and:,lighting purposes, together with the right to }
extend to any telepc►ne, electric or power company the right to
! use jointly with the ;grantee, any pole placed pursuant to the
provisions hereof,. and together with the right to trim any trees
where necessary to secure adequte clearance for the safe opera-

The foregoing right is granted upon the express' condi-
tion that the City of Ames will assume liability for all damage

failure to use due care. in its exercise of the granted right, and
