Coy, husband and wife, in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) , receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant to the City of .Ames,- a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns, the perpetual right ,to construct, reconstruct, operate, and maintain its electric lines consisting of poles wires, cables, fixtures, anchors and other similar equipment, together with the. power to extend-10 any telephone, electric or power company the right to use, jointly with the grantee, any pole placed pursuant to the p-r©visions here- of, upon, across, over, or under the following- stripe of land, to-grits 1.
