Hello,
Below if the resolution for the agenda for the August 9 meeting. We will get you the
proceedings on Tuesday, if that is ok. We thought that the hearing could be held on
September 13 and the city council could also authorize the issuance of the bonds at that
time. That would minimize the process to two, rather than three, city council meetings.
Let us know if that timing works. Thank you.

Hi, Cris. We're doing fine here in Ames.
The Manager, Clerk, and I will set the tentative agenda for the August 9 meeting on Monday, August 1,
and then finalize the agenda and make all materials available to Council members on Friday,August 5. 1
anticipate being out of the office that entire week, so please copy in City Clerk Diane Voss on all
correspondence and draft resolutions and notices (dvoss@city.ames.ia.us).
I'll be in the office through Wednesday next week. I don't anticipate any problems, but if any issues come
up at the Trustees' meeting we will have time while I am still here to make adjustments before the City
Council agenda is set.

Hi Doug,
Hope all is well on your end. I am follow up with the Hospital's request to proceed with
the setting of the public hearing on August 9.
When is the City's agenda deadline for the August 9 meeting? We will prepare the set
hearing resolution/proceedings for the Hospital bonds.
