Voss City Clerk/City Hall Post Office Box 811 515 Clark Avenue Ames, Iowa 50010-0811 Re: General Obligation Corporate Purpose and Refunding Bonds, Series 2005A Our File No. 419370-33 Dear Diane: Based upon the information provided to us by Tionna Pooler at Public Financial Management, we have prepared and enclose the necessary proceedings to carry out the hearing on the General Obligation Corporate Purpose and Refunding Bonds at the August 9 Council meeting and also to set August 23 as the date for the bond sale. The proceedings enclosed include the following items: 1. Minutes of the Council meeting related to the hearing. 2. Resolution determining to proceed with the issuance of the Bonds and fixing the date for the sale. The Notice of Sale is set out in Section 3 of the resolution, and an extra copy is enclosed for delivery to the publisher. 3. Certificate attesting the transcript. 4. Certificate with respect to the publication of the Notice of Sale, to which must be attached the publisher's affidavit of publication with a clipping of the notice as published. The Notice of Sale must be published at least once, not less than 4 nor more than 20 days before the date set for the sale, in a legal newspaper located in Story County or in a contiguous county.
